Brick Square (the "App") is operated by HoneyCube (the "Operator"). The Operator values user privacy and complies with applicable privacy laws. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App processes, why it is used, and what data may be transmitted to external services.
Article 1. Purposes of Processing Personal Information
The Operator processes personal information for the following purposes.
- Saving and restoring game progress
- Providing game features and operating the service
- Checking errors, responding to failures, and improving stability
- Analyzing usage patterns and improving quality
- Analyzing game balance, missions, achievements, and session flows
- Reviewing abnormal behavior and operational issues
The Operator processes personal information only within these purposes. If the purposes change, the Operator will take required measures under applicable laws.
Article 2. Categories of Personal Information Processed
The App may process the following information.
1. Identifiers and Session Information
- Installation identifier (
brick_id) - App session identifier
- Play session identifier
2. App and Device Environment Information
- Platform information
- App version and build information
- App runtime environment information
3. Game Usage Information
- Game start, end, and restore status
- Score, turn count, cleared line count, and maximum combo
- Mission success and failure counts
- Achievement completion or level-up information
- Checkpoints and progress state
- Buff application state
- Progress information for specific modes such as Daily Puzzle
- Event information generated while using the game, including settings screen, achievements screen, block collection, and tip displays
4. Error and Diagnostic Information
- Error type
- Error message
- Exception information
- Stack trace
- Technical diagnostic information used to check App stability and behavior
5. Local Storage Information
- Privacy processing consent status
- Settings such as sound and vibration
- Saved game sessions and progress state
Article 3. Processing Methods and Collection Timing
The App processes personal information in the following ways.
- Processing information automatically generated while the user launches and plays the App
- Locally storing the user's game progress and settings on the user's device
- Transmitting data to external analytics and operations services after user consent
The App asks for consent to process personal information on first launch. Before consent, the App does not transmit data to external analytics or operations services.
Article 4. Processing and Retention Period
The Operator retains and uses personal information only as necessary to fulfill the collection purposes.
- Local storage information may be deleted when the user deletes the App or clears App data.
- Analytics and error information transmitted to external services may be retained for 12 months according to service operation policies and applicable laws, then deleted or anonymized.
- If separate retention is required by applicable laws, information is retained for the period required by those laws.
Article 5. Use of External Services
The Operator uses the following external services to operate the App smoothly.
1. PostHog
- Purpose: product analytics, usability analytics, error tracking
- Processed items: identifiers, session information, app and device environment information, game usage events, error and diagnostic information
2. Supabase
- Purpose: uploading game analytics sessions and events, processing operational data
- Processed items: identifiers, session metadata, game progress statistics, checkpoints, event information
The Operator processes personal information only within the scope permitted by applicable laws or the user's consent. If the scope of external service use changes, the Operator will provide notice through this Policy.
Article 6. Overseas Transfer of Personal Information
Some external services linked to the App may operate through overseas infrastructure. For example, the App may use a United States region for the PostHog host.
- Transferred items: identifiers, session information, app and device environment information, game usage events, error and diagnostic information
- Purpose of transfer: product analytics, error tracking, service operation, and quality improvement
- Countries of transfer: United States and other operating regions of external service providers
When overseas transfer occurs, the Operator will provide required notices and safeguards according to applicable laws and service operation policies.
Article 7. Consent and Service Use
The App asks for notice and consent related to personal information processing on first launch.
- External analytics and operations processing starts only after the user consents.
- If the user does not consent, use of the App is restricted, and the App may currently close after consent is rejected.
- Local settings related to consent status may be stored on the user's device.
Article 8. Destruction Procedures and Methods
When personal information is no longer necessary, the Operator deletes or destroys it without delay.
- Electronic files are deleted in a way that makes recovery or reproduction difficult.
- Local storage information may be removed when the App is deleted or App data is cleared.
- Information stored in external services may be deleted or anonymized according to the relevant service operation policies and applicable laws.

Users may exercise the following rights regarding personal information.

- Make inquiries about personal information processing
- Delete local storage information by deleting the App or clearing App data
- Make inquiries or objections related to consent

The Operator applies the following measures to protect personal information.

Article 11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies from the effective date. If applicable laws, service features, linked services, or operation policies change, this Policy may be revised. Changes will be announced through in-App notices or the distribution page.
